Climate Resilience

Two people bike across the Tillikum Bridge.

We need living wage jobs to support climate resilience.

We need a Green New Deal in Portland. Renters, seniors, people of color and people with disabilities are disproportionately carrying the burden of climate change, which is why programs like Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) are lifesaving for Portlanders.

Programs like PCEF provide living-wage jobs that help weatherize homes and provide air conditioners for people to survive our increasingly hot summers. We need more smart policies like the Portland Clean Energy Fund and more leadership about making our region more climate resilient.
